In these terms and conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refers to Fran’s Hydroponics (ABN: 39 147 952 127) trading as Fran’s Hydroponics. Your access to and use of all information on this website including purchase of our product/s is provided subject to the following terms and conditions. The information is intended for residents of Australia only.
We reserve the right to amend this Notice at any time and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended. We therefore recommend that each time you access our website you read these terms and conditions.
Our prices, products and terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
We are not responsible for any representations made by affiliated parties and reserve the right to refuse to supply goods to any person. Fran’s Hydroponics provides the highest quality advice in full cooperation with relevant legislation. Please check your relevant state and government laws to ensure you stay legit.
By accessing our website, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with your use of our products or website.
The copyright in all material provided on this site is held by Fran’s Hydroponics or by the original creator of the material. Except as stated herein, none of the material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of Fran’s Hydroponics or the copyright owner.
We will not be held responsible for losses incurred by not receiving goods that are not in stock. We will try to contact you in that event, but please indicate with your order if you do or do not want replacement of out-of-stock items with equivalent brands of equal value. Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.
We undertake to replace any product to you that is proven faulty or in a damaged condition upon delivery. You will need to contact us immediately upon receipt of a damaged/faulty product so we can discuss requirements to return/exchange such product. Please check our returns/warranty page for more information. If for any reason a product is to be returned to our store, it is the responsibility of the consumer to cover the cost of the return postage. *All orders are shipped in unmarked boxes to maintain your privacy.
All orders are shipped via Australia Post, TNT Express Delivery, DHL International or Couriers Please. We endeavour to dispatch products on the day of order if possible. Please allow for additional delivery time for remote areas. If you need an express service, contact our sales representatives and we can provide a quote for your requested service.
Please make sure someone will be available to receive your order, otherwise your package may be returned to us. For a price estimate and tracking please contact us. Cheques and non-Australian Postal Money Orders may be held up to 2 weeks for clearance and then the order will be processed and shipped. We do not charge handling fees.
Please note: Some items (grow mediums, value packs, etc.) require a custom quote when shipped via Air Road Direct, Australia Post or Couriers Please, and are charged by 'Dimensional Weight'. As a result, we reserve the right to amend the shopping cart calculated shipping charges to actual charges. We will notify you if this situation occurs.
If an item runs out of stock before your order is processed, a refund will be automatically issued back to your account within two to three business days, unless otherwise directed i.e. specialised items. We will contact you if this unlikely situation occurs.
Fran’s Hydroponics only ship goods to the cardholder's address or the confirmed address in your PayPal account. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we ship to third party addresses for your own card security. Our couriers will not leave parcels without them being signed for at the delivery address. Please do not ask us to leave parcels, again due to card security. In case of difficulty please contact us and ask about morning and Saturday deliveries, which will incur an extra charge.
The courier will attempt delivery to the specified address. If the customer is unable to sign for the product an ‘Attempted Delivery’ slip will be provided to inform the customer of the necessary procedures to arrange redelivery.
We reserve the right to charge for any redeliveries if you are not present at the delivery address on the delivery date stated in your confirmation email. You may also call to schedule a delivery for a specific day if needed.
*Free standard shipping is applied to most orders over $199.00 AUD. If a faster service is required, please select the express shipping (1-3 days delivery) option and for regional non-metro we have provided a flat rate.
Please Note: Some orders over $499.00 AUD may incur a small shipping fee dependent on dimensional weight, regional areas and tail-lift requirements, as stated above.
Please allow up to 10 business days for all non-metro (regional) areas.

We ship our products throughout Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. We comply with all necessary restrictions and guidelines when shipping any products classified under the Dangerous & Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide.
