Care, hydration and calibration – in one kit
Maintaining your Bluelab pH and conductivity probes
To ensure ongoing accuracy and longevity, we recommend that you maintain your Bluelab probes on a regular basis.
While no calibration is required for conductivity and temperature, you will need to calibrate your pH probe. Your Probe Care Kit contains sachets of pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and KCl solutions for calibrating and storing your pH probes, as well as 2.77 EC standard solution for testing your conductivity probe after cleaning. This kit also includes probe cleaner and cleaning instruments.
You’ll have everything you need to clean, calibrate and hydrate your probes – in one compact and affordable kit.
Improve product longevity with regular calibration
How to calibrate your Bluelab pH products
If you want to improve your Bluelab pH product’s accuracy and longevity, you’ll need to get into the habit of regular cleaning and calibration.
Luckily, the easy-to-follow calibration process is the same for all Bluelab pH probes and pens.
After cleaning your pH probe, you’ll need to calibrate it with pH calibration solutions at two reference standards - 4.0 and 7.0 pH. Once calibrated, you can start measuring pH again immediately. You’ll need to recalibrate whenever you clean your pH probe and when your meter alerts you that calibration is needed.
