Coco Chips have great water retention while providing essential aeration due to their chunky nature. The chips also improve soil structure and help house beneficial bacteria if you like to innoculate your media. This is a great alternative to Perlite if you're a fan of the 70/30 mixes of Coco Peat and Perlite!
