How SILICA Works: Bloom Silica delivers soluble silica, a naturally occurring substance in soils. Silica fortifies cell walls, increasing plants’ resistance to fungi and insects, and promotes strong, sturdy stems. It also fosters healthy root development, enhancing nutrient uptake and CO2 absorption. Additionally, silicon reduces water loss through leaves, helping to prevent wilting. Due to its high alkalinity, Bloom Silica can also be used to raise the pH of nutrient solutions.
Using SILICA: Suitable for any growing method or medium, both indoors and outdoors. Silica/silicon is typically used throughout the plant’s life cycle, from vegetative to flowering stages. Cease use at least one week before harvest during the final flush. Prepare your base nutrients as usual and administer at 0.17ml per litre of nutrient solution.
